If you have such a problem with the project, why do you continue to run it?

Well the project has been off-line again for about 24 hours now with no prior notice.

RAC is still way too highh. Needs to fall quite a bit more before it should be put back in the daily, weekly, etc totals.

I am still waiting to find out this has happened before I donate anymore time or money to this project!

Another day and another unannounced outage for the last several hours or did it crash again?



Would be nice if it was a planned outage to at least notify us the day before as a "news" posting so we know!

OBVIOUSLY, this project is NOT ready for placing back into stats, etc... NO reply from the project admin BOINC@Polandgoofy in past 24+ hours.
Things are back to the SAME PROBLEMS before the primates killed the project previously.

The way things currently stand, this project will NEVER be ready for placing back into stats, etc.
BOINC@Polandgoofy has proved once again he does not supervise / monitor at least once every 24 hours the health of his pet monkey project.

There is a current and a reoccurring pattern of problems I see with this project:

* TOTAL MISMANAGEMENT OF PROJECT IN THE PAST.
* TOTAL MISMANAGEMENT OF PROJECT CURRENTLY.
* SERVER CRASHES AND OTHER SERVER RELATED ISSUES.
* DATABASE CORRUPTION CAUSED BY THE ABOVE THREE ITEMS.

It is now 48+ hours since I originally posted and still getting "Server can't open database" error message; Project web site shows I have 29 tasks currently in-progress of which NONE are on my PC's aka GHOST TASKS.

And I am still waiting for this project to be fixed or shut down. It is time to demand one or the other!

Gee! Now we are forbidden from accessing the server! Is it time to retire this project forever?

Not surprising... the PROJECT SEVER(S) are F*ked up again!
I keep getting alternating messages in BOINC about the project status:


TASKS ARE FAILING TO DOWNLOAD OR ARE "GHOSTING"

Wonder what happened this week to keep the WHOLE project off-line for nearly 3 days and counting? Can't even get a ping reply on the URL or the IP address.

There was no messages this week about any "scheduled" outages. Could it be related to the SERVER Maintenance: GoofyxGrid@Home NCI: Maintance break #24 from several weeks ago?

Hey! Look at the bright side. We will get another interesting disaster story if and when the project comes back on line!

Based on this and many other postings by this so-called project admin he seems to have UNRELIABLE power regulation wherever he keeps the servers and inadequate proper power conditioning / UPS in place.

( would not donate any cash to the project as it keeps being unwisely used and wasted.

Another week, Another Disaster for the "Monkeys" project!
No tasks are being sent out and web site is timing out most of the time with "504 Gateway Time-out" error.

Server status page shows:

Have no tasks on my 5 Pc's but the web site claim I have 5 tasks outstanding (GHOST TASKS).

I never did get any real answer to the previous disaster(s) which do NOT appear to have been fixed.
Appears the head monkey (goofyx) is way over his head in trying to get things working properly after numerous failures this year:
1) The server, etc getting fried by an "electrical problem" resulting in smoking components and database corruption among other things;
2) The head monkey restoring project from a backup after getting some "spare parts" together ;
3) The head monkey attempting to "fix the database and credit discrepancies" after data restoration resulting in massive points added to user accounts -- making things even worse than before;
4) The head monkey attempting to "fix the massive points increase" by "reversing the massive credits"...;
5) The continued database corruption possibly casing the sever and web site becoming unresponsive and/or unreachable.
I may have missed some disasters but I guess this is the highlights (lowlights) of 2019 for this project.

Another day, another DISASTER: No space left on server.
Has been like that for 24 hours now and counting ,

Boy! The head monkey must of got a hold of a yo-yo. The project is up, down, up, down, but mostly down.
