I am not in the middle of all that has been going on. I have been reading the forum posts here at BS and at the projects. I have P@H credits from a long time ago. If you were to look at my stats you would see that I have occasionally gotten a credit increase from an adjustment, but I have not crunched for them since July 2006.
While reading all the posts I have been keeping an eye on the stats, which I’m sure we all love/hate to do. The stats speak for themselves and they are currently speaking volumes.

When you speak to administrators like I do on a regular basis they are interested in only one thing. Numbers. If you could pull the stats together that show how many users there was before all this started and how many there are now, that alone would be compelling information. Next, if you could show how many active users there are now compared to before that will truly shock you. Just look at the
credit summary for the project for the last months.
There is only a small percentage of the users still volunteering there time/electricity than there was before. That alone has got to get someone’s attention. I mean the projects are here to get results, right? Well if the project has fewer volunteers working and there are fewer results getting thru to the scientists who eventually are going to ask “Why?” The administrators are going to find out eventually and they are going to ask “Why?”
Now the volunteers can answer that last question directly with a petition that is asking for:
“ Despite all that, we are still willing to talk about all of these issues and to receive proposals of how to resolve these problems.
I personally have nothing against/for Scripps or P@H. I hope that the resolutions that are agreed upon in the future will be satisfactory for everyone. I agree on several points that have been brought out and I disagree with several of them. My right to do so. Just like it is to write this in a semi-public forum and I thank Willy, his family and friends for the gracious use of their time, personal space and money spent to keep BoincStats up and running.
I guess my time on the soapbox has ran out and I will step down.
Yours in Service,
