Docking@Home is currently in ALPHA Test

http://docking.utep.edu/index.php

stats available with permission: http://docking.utep.edu/forum_thread.php?id=19

From the HP:
DAPLDS or Dynamically Adaptive Protein-Ligand Docking System is a project that involves collaboration among the University of Texas - El Paso, The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), and the University of California - Berkeley. This project, through implementation and use of a cyber tool, DAPLDS, that enables adaptive multi-scale modeling in a GC environment, will further knowledge of the atomic details of protein-ligand interactions and, by doing so, will accelerate the discovery of novel pharmaceuticals. The goals of the project are:

1. to explore the multi-scale nature of algorithmic adaptations in protein-ligand docking
2. to develop cyber infrastructures based on computational methods and models that efficiently accommodate these adaptations.

Closed the account creation for now. We have enough windows users for testing. If you have an Intel-Mac or Linux machine write us an email at dockingadmin@utep.edu and we'll create an account for you. Please write down your comments, error reports and inputs in the forums and we'll get to the problems as soon as possible. Thanks!

Checked this morning, and then they didn't had stats.

Will add them tomorrow. I just had to capture the cat (she has surgery tomorrow) and when I got her the dog tried to grab her. Cat tried to escape and she used all her hundred or so nails on my arm to escape. It's a bit of a bloody mess (the arm, cat survived!).

*Ouch* What a scratchy little beast... Hope you don't need a surgery, too.

Added Docking to the stats.......... Only to find out the exported files are empty

As soon as something is in the files Docking will show up on the site.

Can you add them as well to BAM! ?
They said on the boards that they use 5.7.0 server software, and that it's the newest stuff, so I presume it's possible.

Look here in their forum.

It has been confirmed that "Docking@Home is a pure non-profit effort, and we will not make money
from the results."

Also from Dr. Armen, Project scientist
"The only connection between Predictor and Docking is that our project leader
Michela Taufer helped to establish the Predictor site in the Charlie Brooks III
lab at TSRI, and is now establishing the Docking site in her own lab at UTEP. Predictor is a site for the prediction of protein structure, folding, and structural transitions. Docking is a site for the prediction of protein-ligand interactions using CHARMM based molecular docking methods."

It may be good opportunity to ask a little off-topic question on D@H forum - any future for Predictor?

A question for Willy. Do you want/need the invite code for docking? If you do please send me me an email so you can join and I can transfer the team to you.
