There's a new project upcoming: Chess960@home
At the moment it's in conceptional state.

Okay, we've just opened the website for the Alpha tests:

Account creation is disabled at the moment.
Pre registered users may request their account key to login.
Stats are not available cause there is no app and wus yet.

Progress: started developing a test application.

In advance of somebody thinking stats are available at http://www.chess960athome.org/alpha/stats/ I can tell that they are empty at the moment and were just generated for testing.

Okay, little update:

Stats are now available (as you can see ). They are updated daily short after 20:00 MEST (CEST).

We've released some work for WIN last weeks to test the parameters - therefor we used the app of PrimeGrid (thx to Rytis).
At the moment we are doing the same with the app of QMC (thx too) for Linux.

In the meanwhile we are working on our own app.
This may take some time, so don't expect account creation etc. to be opened soon.

If you could move that 4 hours back, the are taken fresh in with the daily update. Now they sit there for 20 hours.

I'll see what I can do (perhaps update more often).
For us it's a good time to manually control everything

The update is now planned 5 hours before (should be enough time even it it will take longer sometime).

Just a question about Chess960 allthough it is a bit off topic.

I was wondering if and when the project will reopen accounts creation.

I love chess and would really like to participate.

I also want to join, but at this moment it seems Chess960 won't open again until the alpha test phase will be completed.
Unfortunately I think this will be last for an unknown time... because there's nothing to find in their forum...

We had a talk today and we think we will open for another 100 soon. Stay tuned
