123 Numbers should be considered a DEAD project and considered for retirement.

No word or comments from the Project Admin(s) (a Grammar School aged child or his Father who set up and supposedly maintained the website) since early May (almost 4 months now)... despite several attempts via private message to get status of project.

Now the message boards are becoming a spam haven.

There are NO active "users" doing work (and have not since 2015/07/19) according to the stats link here at BoincStats.
Serious BOINC users had stopped "supporting" the project back in May due to applications (crashing) issues and lack of communication from the project admin(s).

The vdwnumbers.org BOINC project is running again. Version 31 uses half as much RAM (1 gigabyte for primes around 250 million). This seems to have fixed the computational errors that prevented you from getting credit, which I know was frustrating. I apologize that I did not respond to messages over the Summer. I hope you will consider giving the project another chance. We are now proving lower bounds for Van Der Waerden Numbers using primes above 250 million, compared with primes up to 10 million used for previous records. Happy crunching!

Guess they just needed a little push. The project is reactivated.

Apparently the project has ended and is just letting work run out.

Sorry for my recent inactivity. A paper has been posted on arxiv for this project at https://arxiv.org/abs/1603.03301, and has been submitted for publication. I would like to thank all the volunteers who contributed their resources to this project. The project will no longer generate new work, but will incorporate any results received.

The project ended last year. Why is it still in the list of active projects?

I wouldn't say that it is working very well if it actually truly is back. Lots of issues with the website...
