There wasn't much action on BURP before Corona time in 2020 already, but since then Janus put the project on maintenance.
Now, since a few days, only the following text is viewable for users:

This server is currently under extended maintenance until the year 2025.

Sorry for the short delay that this may cause

Update: The extended maintenance was extended to 2027

Sounds like a bad joke or like Janus often did, similar to the hilarious april fools, but probably it looks like the project will be dead for quite a while, not to speak of forever.
I think it can be retired...
