Per info of the project admin Renderfarm is moved to the retired section. BOINCstats will no longer check for XML updates.

What happens to those of us with poor split CPIDs? My RF stats are doomed to be on their own CPID for the rest of time (or until Nicolas finds the motivation and hosting to get the project back on its feet)?

I have an old idea to write a new part for BAM! where a user can change the CPID of accounts in retired projects.

The catch is of course a) you need a BAM! account, b) your BAM! account must have registered your project account at the retired project.

So, for those lucky ones with a BAM! account the problem will be solved.

For all others: it's not to late to create a BAM! account for future retired projects

Sounds good.

I have an account, but only use it for alpha testing. With only two computers, and both in the same room, BAM is a bit overkill. But this is incentive to keep the account up to date.

Thanks Willy! You're the best.

One of the not so nice things about the retirement of the RenderFarm is the loss of credits now.
I lost my 3.638 credits I made on the project.
I feel the same as like my account was deleted over at Predictor without warning.
Is this every time a project retires that the earned credits are subtracted from the own stats?

Edit:
Just saw that Zivis is also marked as "retired", but they still count in my sig...
So what's up now with the RenderFarm credits

The credits should be there. The problem is the server move. At that time there were no visible retired projects. The list of projects was moved from the DB to the WWW server and the DB only has an old copy. Guess which one was used for finding retired projects.

The credits will be back after the next daily.

Thanx Willy!
That will be a nice looking credit movement in my stats then.
