There is a new project: Shoft@Home ... i registered and got WUs. They need 10 minutes at my system.

@Willy: Can u add this project to your statistics, when we know, what they do and so on? Would be nice.

I've seen, that you create a team there ...

But you have to know, that this project is commercial. Before some minutes, i've read this: The special feature of project Shoft@Home will be its commercial directivity. Owners PK, which return their computers for the calculation of any production application, can obtain real money for the use their PK. Enterprises, which desire to use the created infrastructure for the calculation of their applications, can obtain this service also on the commercial footing. Conditions and size of payment are located in the stage of refinement.
But I have finished some WUs until found this text ...

Do you have a link to that text. I searched for a page that explained the project, but couldn't find it.

I will add this project to the stats when they export XML, which they don't at the moment.

I have no problems with a commercial project, but I won't run it myself. But it 's a choice everyone has to make for him/her self. So if people join it, and they export XML, they'll be on BOINCstats.

Well I don't think they are using it for anything commercial so far - only the standard upper_case application with the -cpu-time argument in production at the moment.

Here's some discussion at the S@H forums. Seems like the Berkeley developers may not be too cool with this commercial use of the project.

I think this project should be moved to retired project folder. As well with other "dead" projects. Anyone agree ?
