The site has been off the air for weeks and for a few days even landed on a parked domain. IOW, it shows all the signs of a dead project.

Do you mean this site? http://physicsathome.tk/physics/

It redirects me to a porn site, so I guess it's been hacked

It looks like Physics@home is back up after finding a new hosting site.

But they had to slightly change the URL, the "at" had to be removed:
http://physicshome.tk/physics/ is right, http://physicsathome.tk/physics/ is wrong.

Same goes for the stats site.

Indeed, it's now a case of new URL.

Project SERVERS ARE HIJACKED AGAIN!
I think it's time to RETIRE it as the project owner/admin CAN NOT keep a SAFE and RELIABLE WEB SERVER.

See my post in "Index :: The Projects :: Physics@home"

The website is still redirecting to malicious sites. It really should be pulled from the Active list or at least have it's link removed until they can get their project stable and secure again...

Another month has gone by and this projects page is still not accessible.

How long must the link/site redirect to malicious content before the project is removed?

Not only that. It is a waste of our time trying to find out what is going on when there is no news from the projects. My opinion is that if they do not say anything and the project is down for a month than retire it. A month is long enough to tell us what is going on or they do not care about the volunteers. If and When they come back they must ask to be included in the stats.
