@Ringold:Think you got it bad? I displayed the graphics then switched them off. Pirates clocked up 11 hours runtime b4 I showed Graphics again - it finished, I got no credits for 11 hrs cpu- 2 many errors.

Pirate's front page says, "At present Pirates@Home is not doing any real scientific computation, we are just having 'fun' with BOINC". So why should anyone donate resources?

@annieb: Yep, I'm aware of that. But having Pirates points makes me feel like a 'gray beard' of sorts of BOINC, and if it helps keep my interest to keep my larger-than-average RAC high, then whats the problem? Life's about fun on occasion.

Aguiar: 1 of the projects doesn't have location info for you. Check recently joined ones and make sure that your location is set right. BAM seems to not pass location info to the projects for me, so it might be one you joined recently.
