Hi,
I was so desperate to get rid of the ads, and to support this great site of course, that on 15th December 2019 I made a donation of 0.04BTC.
I thought this would get me platinum status and get me off ads for at least a year. But so far no crown, no acknowledgement of any sort and still you keep trying to fix me up with improbably busty Russian women.
I was PMimg Willy before I realised that he gives clear warning that he doesn't read such things.
Hence this public post.
Can you help?

It appears you made the BTC transfer without using the donation form. I saw the donation coming in but there is no way to link a BTC transfer to a specific person so I could not update your status. I updated it now.

Yes I wasn't sure if the donate form had worked properly.
But all sorted now. The ads are switched off & those Odessa ladies are just going to have to get by without me!

Hi Willy. Several months ago I made an adjustment to my donation. All seemed ok at first but then the red banner came up and shortly thereafter the ads started. A few weeks later the ads stopped but the red banner returned and is still displaying. Please fix the banners. Donations are being deducted properly. Thanks. JB

For reasons only Murphy knows your setting to display ads has reverted to "yes". I've changed it to "no".

Hello Willy--Thank you for correcting the situation and getting rid of the ads and the banners. I am very familiar with Murphy, and in this situation, his twin brother seems to be involved also. The amount of my meager donation shown on the donor page is NOT correct. The actual donation amount was changed some time back, and yes, it is still meager, but still a slight improvement! If it helps, I can email you the documents showing the amount charged to my credit card. I do hope you are getting the actual amount and that Murphy's evil brother is not spending it at the Gasthaus.
