Inevitably, someone will create a virus to spread boinc, sooner or later, someone will attempt this, and may have allready been done several times.

What do you think the impact on the project would be if a vastly spread mainstream virus was to become. When Antivirus programs and anti-spyware measures defend themselves from boinc.

I think its going to happen, but I am not sure how the vendors will approach this. Will they target the virus itself or boinc?
