This morning I awoke to find that my 3 linux systems had been reset and detached from the projects that were in progress.

I found the 'hosts' project page and saw that there were no checkmarks for the projects that I had been attached to.

I checked the boxes and got things running again, but lost about a month of CP and several Seti and Einstein WUs.

My 3 WinXp systems host entries on BAM were not modified.

I have had the same problem. SETI@HOME had been reset and detached. I can attach again manually, but every time it synchronizes with BAM it detaches, although SETI@HOME appears on my BAM project list.

I changed my SETI@HOME password a few hours ago, as I could not get SETI@HOME into my BAM project list (it said the password was wrong). I'm assuming this means I have to use the same password for all projects if using BAM?

Luckily I've only lost a few hours processing - if BAM decides to disconnect climateprediction.net it would be several months' worth lost.

I'm sure there's a simple solution, but the "this" link on Willy's post (message 4959) does not work.

My BAM ID is 2564, and I'm using Windows BOINC Manager 5.4.9.

Found it, under "host", it had become set to "detaching" somehow. What would cause this?

I have the same problem.
Chess960@Home and TANPAKU has been reset and detached.
I joined them using function "Sign-up projects" on boincstats web site
I can attach again manually, but every time it synchronizes with BAM it detaches them, although Chess960@Home and TANPAKU appears on my BAM project list.
Help me, thank.

You must attach the projects via the BAM! web and this must be done for every host. Otherwise the projects will continue to detach when BOINC Manager synchronizes with BAM!.

I can attach manually, but every time it synchronizes with BAM it detaches.
Here the Boinc Manager Messages log:

03/07/2006 15.51.28||Contacting account manager at http://bam.boincstats.com/
03/07/2006 15.51.29||Account manager: BAM Host-ID: 1578

03/07/2006 15.51.29||Rescheduling CPU: exit_tasks
03/07/2006 15.51.35|Project TANPAKU|Detaching from project

And if I synchronize BAM on a PC where the project doesn't exist yet, nothing happens.

That happens for two project that in my BAM Project list are selected but for both there's not the stats icon in the last column.
Can I delete both project from my BAM Project list?

What is the host status of the project for those hosts - attached, attaching, detached, detaching ?

I have resolved.
The BAM "Preferences" do not synchronizes the project in the hosts already attached at the BAM.
I had to change the project list host by host in the BAM "host list", and now work...
Thank you
