I wasn't here recently so please bear with me if I'm doing something wrong.

Altough I read the FAQ here and also this old Thread, I can still not change my Password for this Site.

According to Willys reommendation in above Thread I went to my Account Page, clicked edit, and chose a new password. After clicking save it seemed to do that, but I can still just use the old one.

What am I doing wrong?

I am having this exact same issue. I was able to get the temporary password and that works fine (oddly only when signing in using my email, not my username though). But when I attempt to change my password through the main account section, it doesn't actually seem to take my updated password. Any help would be appreciated. Wish this issue would be resolved, especially since it seems to stem back at least since 2021-06-16, and this dude doesn't seem to be getting any help either. Really unfortunate.

I should also now mention, that I have also attempted to change this password through the latest version of both Firefox and Chrome, each with no extensions running, with no luck at all. Any and all help would be appreciated.

You did nothing wrong, i have exactly the same problem.

It seems the password edition does not work properly and do not register the new password.

I hope that a fix will be made soon.

Sorry for the late reply, just came back from vacation.

Password changing should now work properly.

For me, it still isn't working, and I can't change my email address either. When I put in my new email address and current password and click save, the email address changes on the main account page. If I log out and back in however, it reverts back to the old one. When I try to change just my password, I get no feedback as to whether it worked or not until I log out and try to log in again. Only my old password works.

I have the same issue, I have tried numerous ways, numerous web browsers, but I am having the same problems as above, it will not change my email address or even let me update my password.
