I tried to link my BAM! to yoyo@home to participate in the BOINC Pentathlon from SETI Germany. Sadly, I could not get BAM! to connect to the project.

Find account via BAM! fails after some time with "Failed".
Create account fails with "Project down".

The project works fine when using BOINC directly and their website is accessible.

Try again now. With so many people contributing to YoYo (especially on a day when everyone is dumping bunkers) their server was hammered pretty hard and even was not reachable for a while. Right now it is much smoother. Let us know if you still have problems.

I know you mentioned the site was up but things can get screwy. BAM! has also been acting weirdly for me as well recently and I'm assuming it is related to the latest updates.

Still no luck. I contacted the yoyo@home Team but I'm still wainting for a response.
Logins via BOINC and the website still work fine so I guess it's a problem with BAM!

You didn't by chance create a YoYo account before and just not use it did you? I have another account that did that and didn't return any work units. Due to non-use the project deleted the account. Had to remake the account and now BAM doesn't connect to the new account as I believe it is still trying to re-attach to the old deleted account. Just curious if this is the case for you too.

I created my first yoyo@home account just a few days ago so it's fresh and I didn't try to connect any other account(s) before that.
It would be interesting to know if anyone else has issues with yoyo accounts in BAM! or if it's just some weird behaviour with my account combination.

I am having the same issue. YoYo account was created 5/6. I can add it manually in the client, but trying to connect here is a no-go, same "Project down" or "failed" error message.

I also cannot link my yoyo account to BAM. When I click "Sign-up" and "Find Account" it spins for a while on "Checking for existing account" then eventually says "Failed".

My yoyo account is new (created 5/6) with days worth of credits. I created my BAM account a day or two ago. All my other projects are linked up fine.

I tried linking my yoyo account again today and it seemed to have worked this time, so maybe whatever wasn't working has now been fixed?
