With no change on my end, the stats on one of my machine has gone to 0, even though work keeps getting completed and reported. Chasing down my ID now points to another user (didn't before). How do I fix this? (The offending ID is 1248857)

I need some more information. The ID's you refer to, are thos BAM! host id's or stats ID's. It would help if you post some links.

I have this link to someone else's machine: https://www.primegrid.com/show_host_detail.php?hostid=1248857

On this page: https://www.boincstats.com/bam/hosts/ the table indicates 1248857 in the first column, labeled "BAM! ID."

So, maybe these are different things -- i don't understand the system well enough. My core issue is the machine that I recognized with that BAM! ID is getting work done, and it's communicating, but it has stopped showing any credit on this page: https://www.boincstats.com/bam/hosts/. I'm not terribly concerned about the credit, per se, but I am concerned that its results are making a useful contribution to the mission. And that is not clear.

Ok, I think my problem is with BAM. Ignore all previous info.

This computer is getting work done (https://www.primegrid.com/show_host_detail.php?hostid=1282665) but showing zero results here (https://www.boincstats.com/bam/hosts/). I just tried removing it from BAM, and re-adding it. But I don't think that helped.

Open to suggestions.
