I have four machines in total that have issues with connecting to BAM - the acct_mgr_reply.xml content shows an error page from Cloudflare.

Three machines were running on Ubuntu 22.04.4 using BOINC v7.18.1 - they were working correctly.
Today I upgraded them to Ubuntu 24.04.1, BOINC v7.24.1 and they started failing to sync with BAM, acct_mgr_reply.xml shows Cloudflare blocking error.

One machine was a new one on Ubuntu 24.04.1, BOINC v7.24.1 and it never connected to BAM. It was getting Cloudflare blocking error.

Most likely this is something that needs to be resolved on BAM side. But maybe someone can point me to some solution that I could try on my end?

I have specific rules in place to allow the BOINC client access even when other rules might trigger a (soft) block. This week I added Tencent cloud computing to a block rule because the site was hammered with requests from that IP block and it seemed to me no clients would be in that block. Still, the allow rule for BOINC clients has priority.

If you could (privately) share your IP adres with me I can take a look in the logs.

It's the bot fight mode of Cloudflare that blocks the connection. But, it shouldn't block it because I excluded everything with User Agent "BOINC Client".

I've checked some more exclude boxes, please try again, otherwise I have to disable the bot fight mode which I don't really want to do because of all the scrapers.

I checked - sadly, all four hosts are still getting the same Cloudflare error and are unable to sync with BAM

I disabled bot fight mode, please let me know if that helps.

Just checked - all four machines are now able to sync with BAM.
Thank you for your help
