I just found that I have "Post: 3" in my profile (should be 4 now, right?).

I'm sure I've posted more than that since May.
Lower numbers seems to appear to each user.
Also, I don't believe Shoutbox History ever had 6659 posts.

Summing up: somethings wrong with post counter there...

I had this problem also.
One day my post counter was reset to zero.
I asked Willy if this could be a bug and he meant that it could be a problem with updates on the stats.
I don't know, it seems on every update some users are affected by this...

It’s definitely not affected by the stats update. Totally unrelated to the forum. I mentioned it was probably a bug in the forum code, which is not my code (except for some additions).

The shoutbox is in use for 2 years now, and it has indeed over 6000 posts.

Post counter reset as an issue remains, I guess...

I've been affected with another post counter reset today.
First, I noticed that my forum preferences are not honored - most recent post first was resetted to default behaviour.

I guess these issues are connected.
Could it be that my BAM profile is out of sync with db? (no CPID change occured).

Any explanation of that, Willy?

Same here, I had to set my post order back to l"ast first" again, was reset to "first first".
And I definitelyx have made more than 2 posts here

It's more than that now...
Suddenly the post counter of some people went nuts, as I noticed.
Look at your own counter, Willy. Some days ago you had 0 again, as I remember, and now it's 2220?
And my own counter got some random number, too. I didn't posted 94 message after all... maybe 50 in total because I'm counting for myself after my first reset.

I still haven't found why this is happening. It is probably hidden somewhere deep in the BOINC forum code.

I hope the code rewrite that is being done at the moment will solve the problem.
