When I try to update my resources on BAM some projects (Einstein and QMC) return incorrect response and do not alter the resources. There is a reference to this in the FAQ, but it refers to projects using old code and this seems to happen only for projects that have server code of V6. It seems there may be a change to the manager calls or responses in V6.

My BAM ID is WyerByter (714462).
Not a host issue.

I just think you may need to update some code for those projects that are early adopters. Or tell me to go away.

Version 6 has no changed RPC's, so everything should work. What I see is that Einstein has the same reply to every call that BAM! makes: an empty XML file.

I asked Rytis (who is on the frontlines of BOINC webcode) and he said something with the words Neo, changes, broken and a few symbols I can't make heads or tales from (^%%$^%$#^&^%%).

P.S. your BAM!-id = 3895

So, your saying that the V6 server code is broken, since it seems to be happening with several projects that report V6 servers.

And sorry about the ID mix up. I grabbed my BOINCStats ID, it seems.

Thanks for the info.

I noticed this problem yesterday as well. I updated all the resources across all projects, and two came back with the error "Incorrect response from project": Einstein and QMC. HTH.
