Currently my client shows the following:

client - resource share
boincsimp - 10 (0.50%)
Project TANPAKU - 930 (46.50%)
World Community Grid - 1000 (50%)
malariacontrol.net beta - 60 (3%)

I try to dump World Community Grid by setting Resources under boincstats as:
malariacontrol.net beta - 60
boincsimp - 10
Project TANPAKU - 930
World Community Grid - 0

but every time I use the Boinc manager to synchronize the WCG numbers stay the same.

I think the whole Resource numbers have long been broken when there are more than one project being given resource shares.

In this case I would try just to "detach" WCG but then all the partial work hours would be lost.

I may just have to throw all the crunching out because the the resource assignment is so buggy; it's the only way I can direct my clients.

Perhaps you can change it at WCG here. If you can, we (well, Willy) must find out why it takes the project resource share instead of BAM's
Racoon: Take your bike and leave the car, going straight to Erics bar.

I'm sure that this problem is specific to only some projects. From my active projects list, MalariaControl.net, TANPAKU, SIMAP & SETI@home respond as expected to all BOINCstats/BAM! commands; Einstein@home does nothing right; and climateprediction.net has just failed to respond to an update to its resource share, but I don't recall that project having any previous problems with BAM! After a couple days to find the most uncooperative projects, I've found BAM! to be pretty convenient, and a nice way to see that all projects are working on any/all computers without logging into more than one.
