I was trying to sign up for that project through this site and the status box on the left says that it is online but when I try to sign up it tells me that there was no response from the project and that I am not able to sign up for it. Am I doing anything wrong?

yes, i also cant create wcg at my bam
i signup at wcg & cant merge to my bam & boinc stat
what can i do?

If I look in your sig you obviously have them together. As you can see on the homepage here, the XML from WCG are over 17h old now, so just be a bit more patient 'til having it here in the stats as well.

WCG doesn't behave "correct" in terms of AMS, but that's nothing Willy can solve.
