The highlighted feature in the image capture above does not seem to work. I deleted FreeHAL from my list and and after doing so, although the project is no longer listed under my individual hosts, the project is not detached in BOINC Manager -- even after synchronizing hosts with BAM. I had to go to each host and manually detach.

Still not an answer; if you added the project manually through BOINC Manager, BAM shouldn't detach it.

That was not the case.

The behavior of the BOINC client has changed some time ago (the old version removed projects, but this meant that also projects not supported by BAM! were removed) and I forgot to update this information text. Which is now corrected.
