I use BAM to manage my computers. Now I have a big problem. I get on some machines, the error message:

I can only manually change the projects. Does anyone know what's going on? Sign in and sign out to BAM have no effect.

Which boinc-client (berkeley or repo) and version?

I've got 2 hosts exhibiting the same problem bam ids 211525 & 282494 - 4 others are ok all run gentoo 64 bit boinc 6.12.26 - this has been happening for some time but never got around to doing anything about it. I've tried swapping them to the testing environment but the problem persists.

Deleting the host on bam and recreating it doesn't solve the problem either. Deleted 282494 and recreated it as 297123 problem still persists.

Additional bug all 6 hosts are reported by bam as linux 32 bit they are instead 64 bit.

Neither of these are big issues for me, just letting you know.

As you know I can't do much if you do not include host information (like OS/version), client version and AMS files (my crystal ball is out of commission). But it seems this problem only affects Linux hosts again so maybe the issue should be reported to the BOINC devs. This wouldn't be the first problem with the Linux client regarding the XML parser in the BOINC client.

I've got 6 hosts all gentoo 64 bit all boinc 6.12.26 (but it occurred in previous versions also) only 2 are affected why would this be a linux issue?

In your BOINC data directory, acct_mgr_*. Specifically acct_mgr_request.xml and acct_mgr_reply.xml (remove the account_key values from the file when posting them).
