I recently changed both my username, email and my password at both BAM! and all my BOINC projects. Since then, I'm unable to attach any new projects using BAM!. Each time I try that, BAM! sends an incorrect authenticator to the client that's supposed to attach a new project. I can confirm that for example by looking at acct_mgr_reply.xml where the <account> block contains an <authenticator> which differs from both the strong and the weak authenticator at the project in question.

I suspect a detach from BAM! followed by a attach to BAM! is needed on the host.

For future reference, if you make the account info changes at BAM!, the project manager will carry them over to the projects you're attached to. A handy time-saving feature.

No, that doesn't help. Especially considering that I encountered this bug on a host that I was attaching to BAM! for the first time, a few weeks after making the changes in credentials.

I know, I think that's the way I actually went about it.

Re-reading your first post: did you do both? First changed it at BAM! and after that on all your projects? As noderaser stated, BAM! is actually doing that for you.
That could be the problem now, probably the project login information is more recent than the BAM! login information.

Try to do a dummy change at BAM! (change password and change it back to the original) and let BAM! do the work to sync those changes to all your projects.
(time can pass... ) then try to use BAM! for removing first and re-attach the same project to a host.
