Hello all,

I am trying to add my existing WCG (World Community Grid) account at http://boincstats.com/en/bam/signup/ but am continuously receiving "Incorrect Password".

I use the same email and password for all of my BOINC accounts so I am not sure what the problem could be.

When I try doing "Create Account" I get "No response from project".

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I suspect the issue to be related to my username. I am using a different username on WCG because the username "TribalBob" is already taken. If I change my BAM nickname then I have to go through more than 30 projects to update my username on those projects...

Any suggestions on a viable work-around...?

Found a fast and simple workaround (made easy by the BAM staff, thanks guys!):

I synced with all of my existing projects except for WCG, then I went to my BAM profile and changed my username to my current WCG username which automatically updated my username across all of my BOINC accounts.

I am having the same issue probably for the same reason. However, in my case I can't simply change my BAM name to make each of the names I have tied to projects because there is already a BAM user with one of those names (not me).

Any way I can get my stats connected for SETI and WCG? I think the SETI one is the one with the same username as another BAM member.

Unfortunately, I think your only option is to find a unique username that you can use at BAM and the projects. If you can use the username from SETI and WCG at BAM and your other projects, than you can use BAM's account management functions to have it change the rest of the projects for you.
