I have been using BOINC and BAM! for some time. I set it up long ago on another computer. It has been running without interruption.

I am now setting up on a new computer, and I am confused about how BOINC and BAM! are interconnected. I understand that when I download BOINC, I synchronize it with BAM! so that BAM! manages my connections to and progress on various tasks.

So do I also have a BOINC account? Or do I not need one because I have a BAM! account that tells BOINC what tasks to give me?
