I have recently not been able to attach new hosts to BAM! Also can't re-attach a host after stop using BAM!
I get a response that User not found or password wrong but neither has changed and I can login to the website using the same username and password.

Contact: A number of weird happenings of late. If I open BAM first I can read all my daily stats and charts. If I go here, to Forum, and then want to go back to BAM stats, BAM will not open and I get the following message: User ID doesn't exist in BOINC combined without ASIC or doesn't have any credit.

I am getting the "failed to add account manager, please try again later" error when trying to "Use account manager..." Been going on for about 3 weeks now.

I was able to fix my problem by re-entering my password on this website. I can attach hosts again and all is good.

Same problem here... anybody find a solution?

I am also unable to manually add back Cosmology@home via boincmgr "add project".

Occurs on all the boxes.

Anyone have any idea of where to look for support on this?

I don't know what got fixed but I can now attach machines back to BAM...

The only problem I have now is when under BAM the Asteroids project in boincmgr reports a resource share UNDER 15% but BAM shows 15% and if I disconnect from BAM I get 15% from the Asteroids project. Almost as if BAM has stored some old resource share PER box.

Any ideas?

Same here. Can login into website but can't attache boincclient to bam.boincstats.com nor username/password or weak_auth are working...

Just now it worked and i was able to attach a new host.

Ditto, just attached main desktop back to BAM... user & pw where blank when I selected "use account manager" from boincmgr this time?

i started having this problem with one of my hosts last night. noticed it wasn't updating in my host lists so i RPC into this host to see what's up. projects in boinc are still crunching away so that's not it. do a manual synchronize and it failed with the same error messages mentioned above... but at least it did update the host list's last contact date/time for this host.

tried to remove account manager to (re) add but failed with the same message.

tried to update to 8.2.4 and (re) add but failed with the same message.

decided to try something out of the box. couldn't login to the BAM website via Edge. after entering username and password correctly the site just reloads and asks for password again. doesn't say wrong password or anything and i also double checked the password and username are correct. tried the same on chrome and didn't work. then somehow i could login to BAM website via chrome. back to edge. no go. eventually i think what worked was when i somehow triggered the site to load the page to ask me to request sending the account activation email... to which it would error out and say account already activated... and then if i try to login to the BAM website it would work, which is how i'm posting this right now.

going back to boinc to try to add BAM, no go. same error message
