Hi,

I have a problem with my Einstein@Home stats on BOINCstats/BAM.

In BOINCstats BAM my Einstein@Home project is listed under My projects. However, when I click on the Einstein@Home stats link on my account page, I only get this error message:

"User ID doesn't exist in Einstein@Home or doesn't have any credit."

On the Einstein@Home website and in my BOINC Manager I do have an active account and I have already been granted credit for completed tasks.

Einstein@Home used to be correctly linked to my BOINCstats/BAM account several years ago, and I have already accumulated a large amount of credit for this project in BOINCstats. Because of that, I really don’t want to detach and re-attach the project in BAM, as I’m afraid this might affect or “lose” my historical credits.

At some point I changed my Einstein@Home password, but my user name stayed the same. I’m not sure if this could have broken the link between Einstein@Home and BOINCstats/BAM.

A few days ago I install BOINC again and added BOINCstats/BAM again as my account manager. Everything seemed to work fine: Einstein@Home was added correctly to the BOINC client, several dozen tasks have already been completed, and some of them have been validated by Einstein@Home. However, BOINCstats/BAM still does not show any new credit or statistics coming from these recent computations.

Could someone please help me understand what is wrong and how to fix the link between my Einstein@Home account and my BOINCstats/BAM account (without loosing old credits)?

Thank you for any help.

Hello.
Did you try to change your Einstein password back to the old one?

I don't know my previous password. For security reasons, I use randomly generated passwords and third-party password managers. The previous password was too short by today's standards, so I changed it (but it was also generated—lots of blobs—nothing memorable). Is there any way I can update the Einstein@home password in boincstats BAM?

Please try putting your password into the box you get when you click onto the project's line on https://www.boincstats.com/bam/projects/ .

I added an email and password to the Einstein@home project on this list. But clicking on the project's statistics still displays the message "User ID doesn't exist in Einstein@Home or doesn't have any credit." Interestingly, in the list you linked to, the "Last attempt" column showed, and still shows, "Success." Despite this, the statistics still don't work, and the error message persists.

Did you allow statistics export from Einstein?
