If I wanted to switch from GridRepublic to BAM, would I just need to install BAM and then attach it to my projects? Do I need to uninstall GR first? Will installing BAM simultaneously with GR create any conflicts? Any does anyone know how to safely uninstall GR without causing stats problems (obviously I would run out my current WUs first)? Thanks in advance.

I think this will be easy and it should not cause any problems.
1. Uninstall the GR client from Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs (assuming you are using Windows).
2. Install the latest BOINC Manger over the folder of your GR client. This will not make you loose your work.
3. After installation run the BOINC Manager and if needed click on "Advanced -> Stop using Grid Republic" (or something like that). If this option is not there then you must proceed with step 4.
4. Follow the instructions described here.
You are ready. Now you should be attached to BAM! and none of your work should be lost.

NOTE: It's a good practice to make a backup of your GR/BOINC folder just in case something is screwed up

Uninstalling the client is not necessary. Just detach from GR (in 5.8.x this is under Advanced, "Stop using Grid Republic", then under Tools attach to BAM!.

Thanks for the tips. I'll try that.
