hi,
is there a way to attach to bam without the manager (i got only a remote console access to the host). i thought of creating by hand or copying the acct_mgr_url.xml file from another host, but not sure of the result (not sure if the signature key identify one host only or is a generic bam key)
any idea/advice before i start ?

ok, i've found the prepare host in the BAM interface. i've not seen it before.
anyway, my problem is solved.

It's been added today, I havn't seen (and translated) it before as well.

make me feel better to know that this button was not there until somewhere today.
the problem now is that my host that was stated as "attaching" has now disappear... i guess either my client did not acknowledge BAM request or the function is not working correctly yet...
there's a -allow_remote_gui_rpc option for the client, should i set it ? if so is there a special port number to set for the -gui_rpc_port option.

finally i could get aknowledged by BAM doing an account manager rpc via:
./boinc_cmd --acct_mgr_rpc http://bam.boincstats.com/ login password
hope it helps someone else.

FYI, that has absolutely nothing to do with BAM.
