Good evening

I've connected a host to BAM using the Weak Authenticator. It worked with the bogus passwort mentioned in that other thread. I immediately saw one project in the BOINC manager and left the machine alone.

Checking the host details on BAM later, I saw a couple of projects attached, but no WCG. I guessed WCG wouldn't support the Weak Authenticator which was fine as that machine is not intended to do WCG.
Checking my results status at WCG, I saw that there where a couple of WUs pending which were sent to the new host.

But unfortunately I can't detach WCG from that host, as it is not shown in the host details. What can I do?

It doesn't appear in your Host list in BAM?

The machine appears in the Host list. WCG doesn't appear in the "My projects" list on the host details. But the WCG site says, it sent WUs to that host.

I can see in the database that this host is indeed attached to WCG, but it hasn't connected to BAM! in the last days (no entry in the log anymore) so I can't see with what it attached. WCG doesn't support weak_auth.

But one can still attach WCG manually to a weak_auth hosts, but without it connecting BAM! I can't see anything.

I will attach WCG manually so that I can detach it properly?

The host connected to BAM today.

PS:
Seems to me as if I don't need to "attach to detach". I just checked the "Hosts per project" list for WCG and the new machine is listed there. So I can detach it from there.

I will wait doing so in case you might want to take a look at the host logs.

It's me again... and I think I have the same problem again. Kind of.

I connected Host ID 162342 using the weak_auth. WCG appeared right away, Enigma a little later, everything worked fine. Until I wanted to change the ressource share.

I checked out the host details-site. No WCG showing up. I remembered that WCG is a little "special" and just set Enigma to 20. Instantly, WCG was detached and the active WU was aborted.
After waiting some time (and nothing happening), I re-attached WCG manually.

In the Hosts overview of WCG the host is shown as attached (it has an active WU at the moment too).
In the "My projects" list on the host details, there is no WCG. Enigma is set to 20.
But the BOINC-manager on the machine says that WCG and Enigma are 50/50.

And I am a bit confused... Can you help me?

TIA,
Carter
