I have a system that is currently crunching and wanted to attach it to BAM!. Will I lose any tasks, projects, etc?

I don't think you will, but just to be safe you might want to run it dry first before attaching to BAM.

No, you don't have to detach. BAM! will recognize to which projects the client is attached, and will add that information to the host account.
