I purchased a Sony VAIO computer and reconnected to my previous projects (I thought). Most of my projects are connected under my account name (FireOpal); but one project (World Community Grid) shows an account name of Sony VAIO Team and a team also named Sony VAIO Team. I never created that account or signed up for that team. I would like to continue supporting World Community Grid, but I would like the statistics to accumulate to my FireOpal account and whatever team I may choose to join. So my questions are:

How do I get rid of the Sony VAIO Team account on my computer?
Will I then be able to reconnect to WCG using my actual FireOpal account?

Although I've been supporting various projects for a few years, I'm a relative novice to the management systems. So any help you can offer this rookie would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The Sony VAIO user and team are preloaded onto your computer in the factory. You can (probably) remove it by starting the BOINC manager (on your computer), go to "Advanced mode" when in "Simple mode', go to the "Projects" tab, select "World Community Grid" and klik "Remove" in the left menu. Once removed, add it back through BAM!.
