When you specify BOINC work preferences in BAM, do these preferences take precedence over BOINC work preferences set at individual project websites? Also, some projects, such as World Community Grid and GPUGRID, have project-specific preferences (such as GPU-related preferences) on their individual websites. How are these preferences handled if one is using BAM? Namely, do these project-specific preferences influence clients if one is using BAM?

In fact, the global preferences get replaced by those specified in BAM!.

BAM! can only control the global preferences. The project specific and community preferences have to be set at each project separately.
