I haven't got boinc running in well over sic months and just installed it again on one of my machines. After setting everything up was ok, now there are no updates from BAM anymore. I checked the forums and found a bunch of threads on this topics but no definitive solution.

Is there meanwhile any final solution or fix for this problem?

I'm using boinc 7.0.30 on OpenSuse 12.1, projects are Seti@home, Einstein@home, Rosetta@home, climateprediction.net.

The exact error message is:

Code:
Opening and ending tag mismatch: pci_info line 195 and coproc_cuda
.
Opening and ending tag mismatch: coproc_cuda line 152 and coprocs
.
Opening and ending tag mismatch: coprocs line 151 and host_authenticator
.
Premature end of data in tag host_authenticator line 2

I checked the client-info.xml and the pci_info tag within the coproc_cuda tags is indeed not closed.

"Opening and ending tag mismatch" errors are in the most cases a Boinc client problem. Maybe the boinc-dev's screwed up it one more times...
IIRC, Willy has a script running that repairs some of these XML-errors but not all.
