Hi All,
Recently upgraded from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 on two of my crunchers. I decided to rename my hosts at the same time, reinstalled fresh 20.04, installed BOINC and connected to BAM, so far so good.

Then I decided to merge hosts on the projects I am crunching to keep host credit accumulating, well now the problem I guess is that the projects (Universe and WCG) somehow synced with the old CPIDs that match the old Host IDs in BAM. The weird thing is the new BAM host IDs let me add/remove/set priority of projects, but all credit associated with my hosts continues to accrue to the old host IDs with the old CPIDs that have not connected to BAM in 7 days. I don't see a renew CPID option for hosts, and it doesn't look like there's any options on the project sites that would help. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thank you!

No solution found, but since it's summer and hot now, I've idled these rigs for almost a month already and will just wait to restart and connect to BAM until the old host IDs have purged which should resolve my issue.

Hi there

I have experienced this a few times - two versions of a host, where the credits go to the old host and the control is on the new host.
You need to wait until the old host drops off the active hosts list. Once this has happened, click on 'Show all hosts' at the bottom right of the list. This will reveal the old host. Somewhere in the the line with that host info will be a red cross. Clicking this allows you to remove the host. As scary as it seems, this will cause the 2 hosts to combine into the new host, and you will have everything in one host again. I can't remember if it was immediate, or took a little while.
