I've recently had to change my personal email address due to a problem and threatening spammer.

But this has caused my account to split across two CPIDs as I cannot changed my email address for retired projects which include AI, Cels, pPots, Predictor and Tanpaku as their servers are no longer available. (Almere hasn't crossed yet but their server is just down at the moment)

There's nearly 19k in credit left behind, i was wondering if this is fixable or will I have to just leave that credit behind?

Many thanks

Anthony.

Because you signed in for BAM a long time ago it's possible to synchonize old projects.
You'll find this 'Sync retired projects' in My BAM menu. Open there BOINCstats and you'll see the link.

It's gave me the option, and updated 3 of the missing projects. AI, Cels and Predictor.

Just pPots, Tanpaku and Almere left to sort.

Thanks.

Hello. I too lost credit due to changing my email address. The CPIDs seem to be the same from the 2 projects that are retired, Predictor and Climate Prediction as the active projects. However, the retired projects show up as a separate user. I updated my new email address in all projects and have run the Sync Projects in BAM, but nothing fixes the problem. The credit for the 2 retired projects is ~ 76,000 which is a nice chunk of change to lose. Any suggestions on a way to get them all sync'd up again?

Thanks!

If your BAM-account already exists when the projects retired you can sync them in My BAM Menu -> BOINCstats -> Sync retired projects

Thanks Crystal. I had tried the Sync thing, but that didn't work. My BAM account was created after the projects closed.

Almere has come back on-line and transferred across to new CPID.

Just have 1,400+ creds sat with pPots, Tanpaku. Not sure if 1.5k is much of an issue to leave behind. But any ideas how to shuffle across would be appreciated.

Thanks people for your help.

Since you joined your BAM-account since May 22, 2007, there is a good chance you can sync those 2 retired projects.
See my former post (2 lower) in this thread.
