All of my projects have had matching CPIDs since Tuesday, August 10 (except for one retired project). Will my BoincStatsBAM CPID align on its own at some point? I expected it to happen after Sunday. I also tried selecting "renew CPID" on Monday since it didn't update itself. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I have had exactly the same problem (since changing my e-mail address) and neither "renew CPID:" or "Sync retired projects" has worked -- and yes, I too have waited thru MORE than one Sunday. Currently my Sig points to my one lone retired project

Do you have clients attached to BAM!, or are you only using the stats?

All my clients are attached to BAM and have been for quite a while -- including the clients which earned the credits in the retired project before it was retired.

I changed my e-mail address back to the old one I was using before and that seems to be bring the stats back together under the old (correct) CPID. There's only a handful of projects left on the new (wrong) CPID -- and I'm sure they will realign with the next daily update.

But, does that mean I won't be able to ever change my e-mail address without re-introducing the split again? If that's the way it works

... or was I doing something else wrong?

With all the Retired Projects that you can't get into to change your E-Mail address your almost stuck with using the same one forever or risk the Split CPID Syndrome.

Thanks Steve, it's not really a big deal, but unfortunately my current e-mail address is just VERY long. I created a shorter version which still has essentially the same meaning. I don't care which mail box e-mail arrives at because I can always redirect it to another one ....

BUT when I visit the project web-sites and I have to log in with an "e-mail address" this current long one (because it is so very long) is a real pain in the a$$ to constantly type in

You might try changing your email address through BAM, and it let it sort everything out with the projects. If you were a member of BAM! when the retired project(s) were marked as retired, then you can use the "Sync retired projects" function to bring them in line with your new CPID.

I have one client attached to all my projects (16), and another client attached to 4 projects. Both clients are controlled by BAM! Again, all my projects show up under the same CPID except for SHA-1, which is retired and not attached.

I originally signed up for BAM! and most of my projects with an e-mail on a host that no longer exists. When I changed my e-mail to a new valid address, BAM! (and of course SHA-1) kept the CPID that was created with the old e-mail address. I can't go back to the old e-mail address, because there is no host there any more. Apparently, when I signed up for SHA-1, I had my country as "international".

Here are my stats as shown in a normal signature:

I can get my stats for active projects by manually entering my updated CPID on the detailed stats address bar and copying the signature URL from the resulting page. This list is a couple of projects short because I don't have any credit yet for some.

I did originally change my e-mail address thru BAM, that's when the split occurred. When I tried "Sync retired projects" I got an error message saying I HAD NO retired projects ... LOL, LOL, LOL. Anyways, my stats are coming back together after reversing my change and reverting the previous e-mail address.

Unfortunately it looks like Inthomp doesn't have that option available to him. I sure wish Willy would poke his nose in here and give his 2¢ ... for starters I'd like to hear why the Sync Retired function told me I don't have any retired projects when clearly I do AND that project was run using BAM.

I've also discovered that a search on my username produces two results, both of which are me, and which correspond to the two CPIDs.

Passed another Sunday with all projects (except one retired project) aligned with one CPID, but BOINCstats BAM! still holding onto the retired project CPID. On a more hopeful note, selecting "renew CPID" actually did clear out the CPID on my main account page.

Hooray! Everything is aligned including my retired project (after I went to 'sync retired projects'! It looks as if the retired project's points are excluded in my total, and it doesn't show up in my signature; is that how it's supposed to work?

Now it's ALL working as I expected! My retired project is on my detailed stats page and my signature, and everything ads up!
