About 2 days ago the only two projects I'm currently running changed my CPID. I have lost all of my credit associated with my inacive projects (about 45%) which were linked to the previous CPID. I clicked on the refresh CPID on the main account page, but the two CPIDs have not merged. Also when I do a user search my username appears twice. Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas, etc.? Thanks.

By chance, did you change your email address? If so, that can cause a split/second CPID. I'm having the same problem right now too. For me, it's not that big of a bother, as I'm only out about 12K creds.

One thing I noticed, and I'm not even going to say that it "could" be an issue, but I searched your name and found the two instances there, as you stated. The thing I found peculiar is that you have two hosts, both being active. I'm only running my one host, a Core2 Quad Q8400. But if BOTH hosts are under the same username, maybe that's what's causing the instance of a second CPID. I noted that BOTH instances have PG (PrimeGrid) listed, and the CPID is the same for both instances of Bill42. I also noted that it appears you started MilkyWay on 6/20. Something could have went "haywire" in the joining process.

In any event, seeing as how you posted your issue here, Willy may be able to help you get things worked out and everything back together. Willy is the master of BOINCstats and a great go-to-guy when things go astray.

Thanks for the input. My PG account has reverted the CPID to the original one. Other BOINC-stats websites have the credit for all my projects listed correctly. Somehow this error only appears on this website. I renewed the CPID a few hours ago. Maybe everything will sync later.

BTW, I did not recently change my email address or password recently. I recently did change teams and three of the projects were offline at the time (AQUA, DNETC, and FreeHAL). Could this be the cause of the problem?

I did see both of cases of my username. If the two are added together the total is correct. I did detach from Milky Way temporarily until things are resolved.

The problem appears to have been resolved. All of my credit is current at today's daily update.

However, my user name still appears twice on the user search page and twice on the team stats page. Is there a way to delete the second one?

Apparently there is still a problem. It is probably related to having 2 occurences of my username. If anyone can help, please let me know.

Odd, the second user (showing MilkyWay and PrimeGrid) shows the same number of points as the primary user with those and other projects. Perhaps a database hickup?
