The P4 3.0 Xeons run at 150-160F in the hot room....the 5150 140-150F so I didn't see any big deal?


that's totally different technology.

i'll check intel about operative margins to be sure tomorrow..

Thanks for that link Frank. I was looking for it on Intels site and was elusive to find. A lot of info to digest and seems mostly written for engineers.No bottom line given for the layman user...need to extrapolate.At best I can say atm my cooling is inadequate and I am rectifying

of course - thechnicals specs..

but everyone can see how cooling works, how to put things together and what's all behind that.

either you go airflow - or breeding fish


i still strongly reccomend cases with big fans like CoolerMaster CM 690 which should not be that exepensive over there.
or to be prepared for those bigger E-ATX boards: HAF 932
