No prob, if you're new it's a legitimate question... But I know of people who have been helping the muskateers for a fair while now, and not from one team alone. They regularly switch on certain projects and have for years...

eh, we run our computers anyway. We'd still be running them even if we weren't crunching something. Back in the 1990s, before SETI@home came out, I never shut down the comp when I left, nor did I want to wait even a second to boot it up to go an duse it. But then the computer isn't really what uses the most power, it's the monitor that does. So, so long as one turns the monitor off, it isn't really that much in comparison

I am feeling really stupid, but why will it not let me upload an avatar? Any idea what I did wrong? Every time I try to upload it and click save, it just refreshes as blank. Thank you for help!

@Drpop & AriZonaMoon* - I changed my avatar last morning and it did take. Just go through the upload and be patient, it did not happen immediately, perhaps it took 15-20 minutes to propagate.
