I have just come back to supporting Boinc projects after a long break and see World Community Grid is not in the list of "my projects".

When I use the "Sign up for projects: Find account" option BAM returns the result account not found.

In all my other supported projects and for BAM I use the name Archeye* but for some reason WCG did not allow special characters in the username so it is Archeye without the "star" *

As my user name is different and I believe this can be the cause for the issue then it is not really a bug.

So for situations where an account exists but is not found by BAM would you consider allowing a person to log into their account and copy and paste a specific identifier into BAM to better direct the "find account" function.

I changed my BAM user name to not include the "*" and it now works.

This is now a non issue and is solved for me.
