It would be nice to have a "Delayed Detach All Hosts" option in the Resources section of the BAM control panel. On the host level, this is a great tool to use when removing projects, so you don't lose any work that has not been completed at the time of detach. I manage about 5 hosts on my account, plus two other accounts... Didn't take very long (maybe 5 minutes) to do all hosts on my account, but for those who have tons of hosts it would probably make a difference.

that sounds like a nice idea...

the only way i can think of doing it is the way i manualy do it now...

suspend the project you want to suspend (localy) and then a few days later you can safely detatch them (local or remote if useing BAM)

but i agree it would be nice to have a detatch after all work complete but that may need to be sugested at BOINC itself and not here

I'm even thinking about adding a challenge callender to BAM! so hosts will switch to challenges when they start.

The new PG challenge starts in the middle of the day when I'm at work and I can't start my comps at home at this time, so i have to wait four hours.
I don't want to know how often this will happen in future, so a tool for this would be really great.

This is the "delayed detach" feature I'm talking about, which is currently available on BAM! if you go through the host list... When you check said box for a project, it will complete any work that has already been downloaded, and then detach from the project. What I suggest is to add a radio button on the resources section, so it will affect all hosts on the account, rather than having to go through the host list and do them individually.

That would be a nice feature.

You can now set hosts to NNW or delayed detach via the resource page (click the hosts icon).
