Sorry to prolong the suffering

After some digging between my stats on statsseb and here, the retired Convector, NQueens, Renderfarm.fi and freehal project stats are missing too alongside the Najmanovich Research Group's ones

Sorry to bother

Is there a possibility to correct that? as already said, not big deal, but this catches my eyes every time I switch between the team stats and here

Best Regards

Unfortunately, you have become a victim of the "split CPID", which is out of control of either you (the user) or stats sites... At some point, your CPID was changed by one of the projects, and the retired ones (being inactive) were not updated. You can find this "orphaned" user and stats here:

http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/16014/projectList

There is a way for BAM members to update their CPID at retired projects, but one of the security measures to prevent someone from "stealing" those credits is that you must have had a BAM account when the project is marked in the stats as "retired". If you think you were when this occured, you can check: My BAM! menu > BOINCstats > Sync retired projects. If not, these stats will unfortunately stay orphaned unless the inactive project(s) comes back online and you can have your CPID updated by attaching the project to a BOINC manager with other active projects.

Thansk for answering

Actually I had a long absence in boinc activity and changed my email here to be propagated to projects a few weeks before I restart crunching in may 2015.

following the link you give I do see the missing projects I mentionned

So, currently I have a retired projects list on my current cpid and the one on the old cpid (if I get it right)

The only option in the bam settings of the two accounts is "Detach retired projects from hosts"

Should I use that option on the old account? or is it too late for that?

Thinking about it more

I remember having done the "Sync retired projects", otherwise I would'nt have the current retired projects in my new cpid.

So, I guess the missing ones are projects that where retired while I was inactive.

I've had the same case with our team's stats and we have the possibility to ask for a "cpid alias" which permits to reconnect all the remains to the new cpid.

So, unless there's an equivalent cpid alias here, I cant recover those stats. Am I right?

As long as the projects were attached to BAM! so it had your old CPID, the should have showed up in the "Sync retired projects" menu. A "CPID alias" is kind of what BOINCstats does with the retired projects, the link exists only in the BOINCstats database and nowhere else. The restrictions on needing to use the same BAM account are in place to prevent someone from making a new account with your username and stealing your credits.

If they don't show up with your old CPIDs under the "Sync retired projects" menu, then there's not much you can do under the current system.

I've used the same cpid for years since my initial registration, only changed the email on may 2015. They should have been in my retired projects (all of them are in my team's stats, I can even access my account and stats at nrg@home on which my email and cpid have been synced with new!), but nobody was harmed, so peace

The "BOINC Cross Project IDentifier" or CPID is not created by the user, it's generated by BOINC and a new one can be generated either by user action (such as changing email address) or from the projects. The one for your current account is ea0b53bee786c47c085cee001d64f757 and your old one is 5bee06d14beae0617985282e71e5702f.

There are only a few things you can do to merge them, if you've tried the options discussed earlier then you may have to wait for future options. Or, if you don't care about those 213,083.95 credits, you can just ignore them.

Yep, you see that I've had only 2 cpid since my start in boinc crunching; after I changed email, I used the option to get the retired projects with the new cpid, but didnt check thoroughly (not expecting a hiccup). So, we can agree there have been a "hiccup" in the process of associating those rerired projects credits to my new cpid.

Concerning the Najmanovich Research Group, it's another issue. The servers are still up and did get the change email and new cpid which I asked some time before beginning a new crunching "campaign" in may 2015. Some different bug occured here.

If the servers are still running, but the project was still marked retired at BOINCstats, it's probably because they're not exporting stats for some reason. QMC@Home is another project that's doing this.
