Hi,

I've got no stats, not even for clients. I have renewed my CPID, but at the next day I only got stats for 1 of 6 clients. Do I have to reinstall the clients again?

At the menu "My detailed stats" I only see the message "User ID doesn't exist in BOINC combined or doesn't have any credit.".

At the host list I can see all my hosts with "work left", but the credits are 0.

If I choose a signature at the menu "BOINCstats", I only get the following message in the picture "Your BAM!-id is not linked to a stats account yet!".

Please help me.

BR

Is one of these you?

Unless you're using the account manager, having an account here won't link to your stats--it's just for the forums. The actual stats are collected from the project sites, so if you aren't on the list I linked to, there's a problem at one of the project(s).

All 3 maxmoon accounts are me
I've accidentally hit "create new account" at the beginning, could't find a function to delete a seti account on there webpage and than I've changed the e-mail address of my old seti account to the e-mail address I am using at boinc stats. And I've read in the sticky notes, that if there are issues with the stats one should renew his cpid. I did this, but after that I've read in a forum post, that this could cause issues (is this true?).

But the good news is, today I can see stats at "My detailed stats" and the values in the host list changing too, but there are now 3 accounts called "maxmoon". Is there a way to merge 2 accounts. Is it a possible way to change the e-mail address in boinc stats and in seti to the old e-mail address I've used 10 years ago?

Thanks for your help.

If you are not using the account manager functions (having your projects "attached", and BAM synchronizing at least one host) at BAM, making changes there won't have any effect. Even then, the only time BAM itself does anything with the stats is for retired projects.

Unfortunately, if you actually have more than one account at a project, it's up to the project management to merge accounts--although it's theoretically possible, I don't know of any cases where the admins have actually done this. They key to aligning a "cross-project identifier", is to attach all of your projects to one host, then wait a few days for everything to line up--you don't have to do work at all the projects, just attach and let the CPID get synchronized. Of course, you'll have to use the same username at these projects. I think at your point, the best you can do is align the accounts where you have the most credit. If you don't have the login information for those accounts, your hands are effectively tied.

I think it's not very important to get the retired stats to my active account (would be a "nice to have&quot, but having the stats for the ongoing project should be a must-have. Should I just be pacient for a week, because every issue will automatically solve itself?

Some days ago I've changed my CPID at BOINCSTATS, but at SETI there is still an old CPID. Will this automatically solve itself, too?

Thank you for your help.

I have the wrong SETI account in "My projects". There is a newer SETI account which has the same CPID I actually have at BAM! I want to detach the newer SETI account and attach the older SETI account. But I can't see any option for this in "My projects". How can I do this the right way? Do I have to renew my CPID again? Is there a way to get my old CPID back?

Thanks a lot.

Just follow the advice of noderaser:

How should it be done?
Should the account manager (bam) be disabled first and than detach the projects and than attach the projects and than enable bam again? Or enable bam first and than the projects? But why shouldn't BAM use the SETI account it has in the "My Projects" field, again? Otherwise it must collect login data from other projects running in BOINC, right?

Isn't it easier to rename my bam account, change e-mail address and password and create a new BAM account with the information I got in my old seti account? I think this wouldn't take days.

When you "add" projects to the account manager, it's going to add the project account(s) that have the exact same username, email, and password as you are using at BAM. So, you'll need to change the account details at SETI, for the account you want attached to BAM.

If you aren't attaching your BOINC clients to BAM, you're also adding an extra layer of complexity that may be making things worse and/or more confusing. To fix the CPID, you don't need BAM at all.

Solved a lot of issues within a day!

1. renamed my actual bam account
2. changed password of actual bam account
3. changed e-mail address of actual bam account
4. changed e-mail addresses/passwords of important projects (e.g. seti)
5. created new bam account
6. new bam account is now my actual account

And the good thing is, bam collected the right CPID after I used the auto search option for the projects.
Even the detailed stats shows everything I did in the last days and I even get stats for my hosts now.

Thanks a lot for your help, but I tried a lot to solve all this issues with my old account, without any solutions. Fastes way is to start over.
