I recently bought a new computer. It is an i7 w/ 10 cores running win 8.1. I have installed boinc and attached seti@home, einstien@home, climatePrediction@home and sztaki@home.
The computer is listed on all 4 of the @home sites. It has created plenty of credit over the last week or so on each project and this credit is displayed on each @home website.

I also figured out how to get GPUs to work on the new computer and two older ones. Probably unrelated but is a second change I did at the same time.

This new computer is not showing up on BoincStats. I figure it has been long enough that is should show up by now. It has been well over a week

I do have several old hosts that I no longer use. I have accumulated 26 hosts. 27 if you count the one that is not showing up.

How long can it take for a host to show up?
Is there a limit to the number of hosts that will be listed for me?

It has been awhile, but I thought new hosts showed up on boincstats pretty quick.

I beginning to think this is operator error. I have not added a host oomputer for over a year.

On seti @home I found a link from my new computer to its place on boinstates.

It appears that boincstatus knows about he computer but the omputer has owner listed as "N/A".

At this point I believe I must wait and see if what I found on google will fix my problem.


Mr google told me that I needed to let the projects show my hosts. That has always been set to true as far as I know.

Sztaki and Climate Prediction were set to allow my computers to be shown.

SETI and Einstein were set to not allow my computers to be shown. I always thought I was displaying my computers on all projects.


Was that the most likely reason why my new computer was not showing up. I guess now I wait a couple of days to see if my problem is solved.

I'm sorry I posted this as a bug. At least I have a record of what I have tried.

After allowing SETI and Einstein to display my computers, they all showed up here on BoincStats

This thread should not be in the bug section since it is operator error.
