Much as I would like to get 139,674 credits from SETI in a single day, (my average is currently about 300 per day for this project) I dont think it can be correct? I have not changed anything on my hosts for a while. Is this just a blip or do we have a problem...... [p.s. top site Willy!!!]

This doesn't seem to be a problem at BOINCstats, and it's also not isolated to you, just take a look at the number one of this list. He (she?) doubles his credits in one day (and we're not talking about going from 10 to 20).

According to BS you have 282,902 credits. The SETI site gives you 282,901.76 credits. I'm off by 0.24 credits (and that's just rounding) (source).

The bug seems to be at SETI's end.

Maybe (just maybe) some people got credited for due claimed credit.

Not everyone, I got 0 today

Thanks for the prompt reply Willy.....

I reckon I will just celebrate my credit "bonanza" with a quick beer before they disapear again.

I doubt very much that they are "due claimed", I would have noticed...........

Oh, well, never mind.....

Cheers

If you look at this thread over at the Seti Forum, there might be a solution to your "problem".

Lord Tedric had his day as well yesterday, and a jump by 4600 places in the stats.

This does not seem to be restricted to Seti! I have also noticed this error in my LHC account.
It appears that the Host credit does not tally with the granted credit!

A thought, it would seen that one my hosts is being classed as two seperate hosts!
I think that this is due to being not full commited to LHC on a full time basis, having left the project at some point and rejoined at another - this would account for the two hosts (which are the same) and therefore could possibly account for the discrepency in the overall totals.

This theory would also apply to Seti, as I have in the past left the project - only to rejoin at a later date.
