On my personal tatal page there are notes that I partipicipate in S@H and Predictor. There are no similar lines for CPDN. I am hoping that you are just not done yet even though your front page indicates that you are.

But it's fairly easy, so now it is.

Now there is something there.

A couple of problems that I have noticed.

The 3 projects %s do not add to 100%, more like 160% at the moment.

The Sum of the three projects as on the graphs at the botom of the personal page for each project do not add to the same number listed on the totals page in the same place. I cannot quite figure out what the reason for the difference is.

I'll look into the differences later this day, have to do a hospital visit first.

There is a weird calculation error when one of the projects has a lot less credits as the other projects. First you had something like 16000% for Climate :?

I show up twice in the total BOINC stats. One for SETI and Predictor and a second time for CPDN. Is this related to the different versions of BOINC being used?

I checked and both using the same e-mail address.

Could be, I'll check this with the BOINC dev's.

The CPID is only updated during a successful connection to the scheduler. If you do not have the CPDN machine attached to at least one of the other projects, there is no chance that they will be merged. It is possible that it may even have to wait until S@H and Predictor migrate to 4.x.

There are already members that are combined on BOINCstats with all three projects, including yourself, so the version difference between SETI/Predictor and CPDN is no problem.

So even running more then one project on the same system to let the cpid 'find' itself accross projects isn't necesary, as SETI/Predictor don't run on BOINC4, and CPND doesn't run on BOINC3, so no one has them running on one system.

Found the bug in the percentages of the projects and fixed it.

As a member of the team Astroseti, I look for it in the page. I found two teams with this name, "my" Astroseti and another team with the name Astroseti.org. The other team are enormeous, with 32,000 members  It only appears in the BOINC total statistics.
Into the projects statistics, it only appears Astroseti "the true" with the rignt members.

Well, but I look for my old team, Canarias, and I found again the same team! Into the BOINC total Statistics, you can see a "Canarias" team with 32,000 members, the same as the Astroseti.org.
The true thing are that there are only a Canarias team in SETI@Home, and they use another name, Canal@BOINC, for the other projects

When a team changes it's name, my BOINC-totals-script thinks it's a new team. At the moment there is no way around this. The real problem is that the old team is not deleted. I'm working on a piece of code to delete 'dead' accounts.

I rewrote a piece of the update code. From now on if a team changes it's name, it changes also in the BOINC-team stats.

However, the first time a team is found in a new project, and it doesn't have the same name in BOINC teams, it will be listed as a seperate team!

I also removed 'dead' teams (teams that changed name before I changed the code, and were nog longer updated).

OK. Now, the false "Astroseti.org" team are out.

But it continues the problem with team "Canarias". The link on BOINC total statistics appoints to a false group. The only true link are on SETI statistics.
They are using another name on the other projects, but I think they never changed their name.
Thank you for your efforts

I removed Astroseti.org by hand. Other 'dead' teams will be deleted by the script after being 'dead' for 4 days.

I think you have the same `problem with "user" acount.

I make a mistake in my name registration, y change, but now we have a lot of user with my name.

The problem with the user account is somewhat different. When 2 projects line up (they find the same user in 2 projects) one of the projects changes it's cpid. Then we have have a new user again.

I'm working on a solution to find 'duplicate' users.

The CPIDs will eventually start matching again. The problem will be continuity of the same project across the change, and continuity during the change.

Look in your boinc directory for client_state.xml. Open this file in an editor, and look to see what the cross_project_id is for each project. If they are not the same, you need to figure out why.

BOINC is case sensitive about email addresses in some places, make ceretain that all email addresses are lower case.

Make certain that there is some chain that connects all machines and all projects. It takes at least two successful connections to each project to get all of the CPIDs up to date. There is nothing that you can do to speed up the process, as the cross project ID must be registered at the server for each project, not just at your client.
