I've been using BOINCStats and BAM for a while. Recently, I happened to take a look at the World Community Stats specifically and I noticed the credit numbers seemed a bit low. For example my credit page shows 12/11/2006 as 207 and 12/10/2006 as 150.

However, on the WCG site, the credit table shows this:

Date Run Time Points Results
12/11/2006 0:003:02:13:12 2,183 9
12/10/2006 0:002:13:13:31 1,629 6

I have 6 machines running WCG which is why I was wondering what was up with the stats on BOINCStats.

Even the total credit on this page is strange. On the WCG site, just one of my machines has more than double the credit that BOINCStats reports for all of my machines as shown below:

Device Last Date Run Time Points Results
johnp4 12/11/2006 01:49:58 0:076:13:31:31 68,414 273

Am I completely getting something wrong here? If so, please let me know how these stats should line up.

WCG started without BOINC, so they have a different size point. If I remember correctly you multiply BOINC points by between 7 and 9 to get WCG points.

It gets even more fun if you compare the ranks. According to WCG I am ranked at ~80,000 but here I am ranked ~8,000 this is because the rank here only applies to participants running the BOINC client on the WCG site it applies to all clients.

I believe the factor is 7.
