My team "chaos" (lower case letters) that I started on 2004-07-07
@ (http://www.boincstats.com/stats/team_graph.php?pr=pah&id=217)
has been mistakenly combined with a new team "CHAOS" (upper case letters)
@ (http://www.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_user_graph.php?pr=bo&id=978803).

I would like to have my old team "chaos" listed separately again.
I appreciate your help in fixing this bug.

Not a bug. You have essentially the same team name. Change your team name or add something to it, that's the only solution.

Will changing the spelling of my team name from chaos to Chaos separate my team from CHAOS?

If I do change the name or spelling of my team, will I lose my credits?

Team names are uppercased before they are matched. So 'Chaos', 'CHAOS' and 'ChAoS' are all the same team.

Changing it to 'Chaos!' will work.

Projects do not allow duplicate team names (when they are configured properly) so you won't be able to create your team in every project.

In the end you won't loose credit, but in the changing process you may see some strange credits.

Let me see if I have this straight.

The credits stay with the users when they change teams.

Some of my projects allow me to edit my team name. In those projects all I have to do is change the name of the team.

Some do not, so in those I will have to quit chaos and then create a new team which all users will then join.
